I am part of a research team at Barnsley Hospital that has been investigating the effectiveness of homeopathy in the treatment of fibromyalgia www.barnsleyhospital.nhs.uk, www.arc.org.uk, www.ukfibromyalgia.com.
The results so far are very promising and further investigations are scheduled for 2009 and 2010.
In an initial trial now published in a scientific Journal, the results showed that fibromyalgia sufferers who had received homeopathy had significantly lower levels of fatigue, tiredness on waking and pain and felt better on more days.
This is the fourth scientific research trials to show homeopathy to be an effective treatment for fibromyalgia, available online at www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19358959 .
